Speaking on the release, vocalist and guitarist Morgan Lander explains:

“We’re beyond excited to revisit and reimagine songs that started it all for us with Spit XXV. Re-recording these songs has been an emotional and empowering journey. It’s a chance to honour our roots while bringing a new level of energy and experience to the music.”

"I'll Find the Dark lyrically tries to captivate the overall theme of being consumed by pain throughout existence," says Conder. "The idea was for the instruments to be just as aggressive as the vocals and lyrics of the song itself. The track tries to express the emotional distress of feeling lost within yourself, being terrified of existence and living, as well as trying to overcome some sense of grief and heartache."

"Working with our American brothers in NOTHING MORE on our new single ‘Crossing The Rubicon’ has been an absolute pleasure,” says frontman Joakim Brodén. “When we shared the song with the guys, they really liked it and were genuinely excited about a collaboration, which got us really pumped. There’s something powerful about bringing two worlds together in music.”

GATES TO HELL comments, "We wrote this kind of intro track a few years ago, a few days before we got to tour with Dying Fetus. It didn’t end up on the record we released earlier this year but we still wanted it to get released and when we got an offer to tour with DF again we felt this was a perfect time to drop this B sides track.”

CONJURER's co-vocalist and guitarist Dani Nightingale comments that 'Let Us Live' is based on "the idea that, even though trans and gender non-conforming people have existed for thousands of years, in all cultures, of all races, we are a blight upon the earth and don’t deserve the rights that every other human being should be allowed upon birth.”

“This song marks new ground for Bloom and is our softest, cleanest song to date,” drummer Jack Van Vliet shares. “A duet with Yours Truly’s Mikaila Delgado, Tongue Tied is an honest look at being afraid to speak your mind, for fear of what will happen if you do.”

Speaking on the new single, vocalist Jacob Charlton shares: “Mercia is a song about loving someone lost in their own abyss. It speaks to the ache of giving everything—warmth, devotion, even the hope of carrying their pain—only to be met with silence and defences, by ‘vaults’ and ‘ice’.”

“Dead Batteries” finds Heartline digging deeper into the frustrations of modern life: “A lot of us are at a point now where we’re just exhausted,” the band share. “Exhausted from working so hard just to get by - and the payoff is really just that - just getting by. It leaves us with an emptiness that’s easy to lose our heart in.”

Melbourne industrial titans, Witchgrinder have been slammed lately. Touring nonstop, rocking some amazing gigs and staying incredibly active. With all that has been going on they have also been secretly working behind the scenes on a gritty industrial remix of Dead by Dawn ‘The Deadite Remix’. 

“Disappear is about struggling to love and support someone living through something terrible. When the toll has become too much to bear, but is dwarfed by the guilt in knowing what you are feeling is nothing compared to what they are facing themselves,” shares DON BROCO.

When asked about the inspiration behind the track, vocalist Landon Tewers commented: "Silence is a meditation on the feeling of growing older, more confident, and at peace. I wanted to write about my current feeling about existing. Nothing in the song repeats as a metaphor for not treading past waters again and striving to take on things that feel uncomfortable."

Singer Jennifer Haben commented:
“‘The Art Of Being Alone’ is one of the most emotional songs for us since it‘s born from personal battles and quiet reflections. We wanted it to be fragile and powerful at the same time and we believe many of you will find your own story between its lines. Having Chris Harms join us with his uniquely intense voice and personality felt absolutely perfect and brought a depth to this track that made it even more special.”

DESPISED ICON's Alex Erian comments, "We promised a rollercoaster with this record, and it’s time to deliver. Where 'Over My Dead Body' leaned into crushing grooves and dissonance, 'Death Of An Artist' pushes the pedal down with pure speed and technicality. This one is not only my favorite track on the album, it’s also the most personal.”

The band's latest single, 'Shadow People,' is a haunting and groovy track that will have you looking over your shoulder. It creates a vivid sense of unease and dread - both lyrically and musically - as if something from the unknown is coming for you.
