"The song reflects on emotional instability and the pressure of living up to expectations, while battling impulses, ego, and the fear of never truly changing. There's a recurring tension between wanting growth and feeling stuck in destructive patterns, as if these flaws are hardwired into their 'DNA.'

“‘Crucified’ is about the collapse of civil discourse - the way every disagreement now defaults to attack, every conversation becomes a battleground, every difference of opinion ends with someone playing the victim,” explains frontman Marcus Bridge. 

“This song wasn't originally going to be on the album, Mike Joseph came up with the opening line followed by a constant droning melody then sang it to Jake James over the phone and it quickly became a contender because of the song's hooks and the power behind its subject. Eivør conveys about the song: “In ‘Spøkilsir / Revenants,’ we find relief in the imperfect. I think we all carry ghosts. Things in the past we would have liked to have handled differently or little flaws within ourselves we try to hide from the world. But often when we learn to fully embrace each other’s flaws, quirks and darker sides, they become endearing.”

Guitarist/co-vocalist Dante Melucci discussed the new song, saying: "The ‘Secret Weapon’ is the business of music, the weaponisation of the stats and current fads to decide who you are as an artist, and who you should strive to be.”

Vocalist Matty Mullins adds "GRAVITY is about coming to terms with the fact that our time here is limited and choosing to live in a way that leaves nothing unsaid and nothing undone. It wrestles with the weight of mortality, but ultimately finds peace in letting go of fear and embracing the people, moments, and purpose that matter most."

"Dreams In Disguise" explores the human tendency to surrender to things that promise fulfilment, only to find ourselves trapped by the consequences. The song begins after the dream has already turned sour and failure is unavoidable.

CHINCHILLA says of the track: “Viper is from that peak stage of angry heartbreak. Pure betrayal rage… All the things you feel but shouldn’t say out loud because it’s not fair or diplomatic or whatever. God I love writing those feelings into songs.”

Nergal commented on the new single:

“When we were looking for a name for our tour with Dimmu Borgir, I thought it would be great to use a timeless slogan and basically quote the gods of satanic rock’n’roll — Venom and “In League with Satan” perfectly fit my vision. I honestly don’t remember what came first — the idea for the tour name or the idea of recording the song itself.”

“It was a dream to work on ‘INVADER’ together with our hero Walter Schreifels at his studio in Upstate New York, and we’re still pinching ourselves that he co-wrote this song with us,” Saves the Day’s Chris Conley says.

“The subject matter of this song is not an easy one to get into, personally”, singer & guitarist Jake Crawford explains. “It’s broadly about propping up people who have behaviours that are clearly not good for them or the people around them.”

Written from a paranoid state of self-doubt, "hate me like I do" digs into the projection of low self-esteem onto others, and is a clawing back of power from perceived rejection.

"Labyrinth" dives deep into the psyche, exploring feelings of being trapped and lost in a muddled headspace and unable to find a way out. It’s another dose of the battering, groove-driven sound that No Life are creating a name for.
