"Everywhere we look there is conflict, we are surrounded by it and have never been so divided as a humanity," the band says. "Wars between countries, toxic online discourse over ideology, countries divided over political policy from within, what we think is right and wrong has become a tribe identity and we are at war with one another.”

"Verjugarðar / Walls is an epic and dark electronic rock ballad about two people who have lost what once bound them together behind walls of silence.
The paradox is that the walls we build to protect ourselves can also be the very walls that keep us apart.

"Maybe I’ll Come Around" turns inward, exploring the familiar cycle of wanting someone who was never emotionally available and convincing yourself that whatever fragments of affection they offer are enough. "You know it's a bad idea, but the little bits of attention keep pulling you back in," says vocalist Josh Baker.
