Guitarist/vocalist Jakob Lærke Harris, "‘Deathwish’ is our homage to the MySpace-era songs from bands we grew up listening to like Killswitch Engage, Job For A Cowboy and The Black Dahlia Murder but with our signature rap and melodic twist. We wanted to create a song with a lot of forward momentum that gets the circle pit going."

Frontman Jake E comments: “‘Mark Of My Sins’ is one of the most powerful songs we’ve ever written. It’s raw, intense, and full of emotion - everything we love about CYHRA. When asked about the inspiration behind the track, the band shared: "No Arms is about being without a way to protect yourself and what belongs to you. Being alone and afraid, not having any means to control the situations that befall on us. The overwhelming feeling of being helpless until we’re not. Until somebody saves us."

Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch announced today the release of their brand-new single “Eye Of The Storm”, the first new song from their forthcoming 10th studio album, currently being recorded in Los Angeles. 

‘Spotlight’ builds on the emotional and sonic foundation established on Phantom :: Phoenix, exploring themes of vulnerability, transformation, and self-reflection through soaring melodies, intricate instrumentation, and explosive intensity. Having recently wraped up their colossal Arcane Dimensions Tour with Amaranthe and Charlotte Wessels, symphonic metal titans EPICA have unveiled an exhilarating live version of their track 'Cross The Divide', taken from their critically acclaimed, latest studio record Aspiral.

Producer and bassist Mark Menghi comments on the creative direction and inspiration for the release, "I would constantly listen to the original version in moments of clarity, times of reflection, sitting in a sauna post-work out and/or cool down periods, etc. any time I needed to wind down or relax, I listened to it. As time went on, I became more and more connected to the song. I just love the simplicity of the song.”

In the bands own words '"this isn't just a tracklist; it’s a curated collection of stories, each built with its own pulse and purpose. We aren't interested in being a tribute to the past or a carbon copy of the present. Instead, every song was crafted with a sole intent: to deliver a visceral, hard-hitting experience that demands the listener’s attention from the first chord to the final fade.

“Dead Shadows felt like the right first single after a few years away, it sits right in that space between where we’ve come from and where we’re heading, and it really lets Jas’ vocals shine."

The band comments, “‘Oaths Betrayed’ takes the language of faith, war, and destiny and turns it against the systems that abuse those ideas. The lyrics are about promises written in blood and enforced with steel; oaths that were supposed to protect but ended up binding people to suffering.”

“While our music is fundamentally rooted in power metal, we embrace a wide range of musical styles. Among them, ‘Reaper’s Lullaby’ can be described as a fast and brutal track at 240 BPM, featuring tremolo riffs that convey a cold, chilling atmosphere and distill one of the most aggressive facets of LOVEBITES’ musical identity.”
