"For the Women and Outcasts of the world, it’s about taking a stance against the bigotry and malicious intent of the people who think they have the right to hold us back or put us down. An anthem to scream to the ones who believe they are entitled to make decisions for us that they have absolutely no right to make. A mic drop to societies skewed views and perception of us as human beings and a f*ck you for thinking you can stop us."

"You Didn't Like Me Then is not just about accepting one's self, but also embracing it, regardless of what other people think," the band explains of their latest single. "Not everyone is going to like you or accept you, and that's totally okay - you don't have to like them either."

"Flowers" is about the quiet exhaustion of always being the one who shows up, carries the weight, and keeps going when it would be easier to walk away. It speaks to the need for recognition, not fame or praise, but simple acknowledgment that the effort mattered.

"Anywhere But Here is about the breakdown of a relationship where a shared creative world became a source of manipulation and envy," shares Young. "The chorus lyric is coming from a place of irony, but also represents a longing for freedom and steadiness."

Ice Nine Kills mastermind Spencer Charnas shares: “Twisting the Knife is our tribute to Wes Craven and the Scream franchise, which means so much to us. Scream is baked into the DNA of who I am and of Ice Nine Kills—my love of horror, comedy, and the collision between the two. I was already obsessed with Halloween and Friday the 13th, but Scream was the first I saw in theaters. Hearing the killer talk about horror movies, in that distinctively pop-culture savvy Kevin Williamson way, blew my mind.

Moody and deeply introspective, "Speak Slow" captures the push and pull of a relationship marked by poor mental health, power imbalance and creeping self-doubt. Built on slow melodic leads and wide-open chords, the track ebbs and flows, leaving space for the weight of the words to take centre stage, mirroring the gradual realisation of a self-destructive connection.

"Everything Hurts is about the patience and effort it takes to keep relationships alive," says Moreira. "I care deeply about the people in my life, but even the people you love can be frustrating sometimes.”

Frontman Samy Elbanna comments on the song: "This song comes from the feeling when you’ve worked tirelessly for years on your dream to come true and come to life, and you have these sudden realisations of how many important moments you’ve missed and how big the sacrifices have been that you’ve made along the way. A truly bittersweet feeling, because in the end of the day - they’ve been necessary to ensure your focus on your dreams. Nonetheless, it hurts. 

Speaking about Hive Mind, Garris shares, "This is something we've talked about doing for a long time. We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it."

"The song reflects the moment where denial stops working and self-awareness sets in. If those patterns are something you have to live with, the choice becomes whether to decay under their weight or grow stronger through them. Die on the Vine leans into that tension, framing survival as adaptation: sharpening your thorns over time instead of letting the damage define you."

The band shares, “Nightmare Tripping is the uncertainty between dreams and reality. When the paralysis demon holding you down forces you to confront what you’ve tried to escape by going to sleep, blurring the boundaries of consciousness. In total contrast to that terror, collaborating on the song with Nickleback was a dream come true. Chad and Ryan were incredible to team up with, and shooting the video in a burnt out L.A haunted house was an experience we’ll never forget.”

"Lacerations has become a firm favourite amongst those that have heard the new record. After this song came together during the early stages of writing, I felt a huge sense of relief knowing that we had achieved our best song to date. I couldn’t get the chorus out of my head and that’s usually a good sign. Once we had this song under our belts we knew this album would a big step up in terms of our writing abilities.”

The result is Angel Du$t's most flat-out ferocious work in some time, a blender of hard riffs, big hooks, and even bigger personality.  “This is who I am,” says Tripp. “and I speak for the band too: these are people who are always going to be playing aggressive rock & roll. It’s happening whether you like it or not. I’m me, and if you get in my way I’m gonna crush you.”
