The video for 'Avgvr (The Dread Vvltvre)' is the latest in a series of stylistically very different, but masterfully crafted, high concept music videos for BEHEMOTH's thirteenth studio album, where each clip is perfectly tailored to the tone and atmosphere of the respective song.

“Impose” opens with delicate piano lines and atmospheric, industrial-inspired electronic flourishes, anchored by hypnotic percussion that drives the song forward. The layered instrumentation creates a haunting soundscape, allowing Noah Sebastian’s piercing, emotional vocals to cut through with striking impact. The single is accompanied by an indie film–inspired video that captures the emotional intensity of the track.

Regarding the song, Hranica explains, "To me, 'So Low' is almost fighting the mundane, when everything feels flat or meaningless. You just want to set it all on fire and blow it up to get a reaction. It's about chasing that rush, even if it leaves you feeling worse in the end. The song comes from that place of frustration, when you're desperate to feel alive no matter the cost."

Vocalist SU-METAL reflects: “We were invited to take part in a 20th-anniversary collaboration project featuring guest artists on past songs. I sang Japanese lyrics inspired by the original lyrics of ‘The End’ and spent a lot of time experimenting to find what voice would best suit such a deep, cool track.”

“Hard 2 Kill” dives deep into the reality of surviving. The track explores what it means to live with lasting damage, constant self-doubt, and the suffocating weight of feeling disconnected from the world, even through the big moments. It sits in the space between wanting to disappear and stubbornly refusing to quit.

AFI share ‘Holy Visions,’ from their upcoming album Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, out October 3 via Run For Cover Records/Civilians. The track arrives with a performance video directed by Gilbert Trejo. “Holy Visions is the perfect visual sublimation of the song,” says vocalist Davey Havok.

“We never set out to lead. But when enough people walk beside you, it becomes a march. The Campaign Trail is for everyone who’s felt something stir inside them. Now is the time to raise your voice.”

Battle Beast bassist and songwriter Eero Sipilä: “I really had an internal battle with writing this one. We’re a heavy metal band. Will we be burned at the stake, for making a hard rock tune with romantic notions? Then it hit me: We’re Battle Beast—we can do whatever the hell we want. ‘Midnight’ nods deeply to Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Whitesnake.”

Melbourne alt-rockers To Octavia return with attitude on new single ‘What’s My Name?’, taken from debut album MELODRAMA (out Friday October 31). Blending heavy riffs with soaring melody, the track confronts the world’s chaos and human conflict, following previous singles that earned global coverage and national TV spins.

On “Nerve,” the quartet offered:

“This is a nod back to Orbit Culture’s earlier grooves, but with cleaner choruses and a surprise twist right at the end. We’ve had this song in our back pocket for years—its verses didn’t quite feel like us… but that’s exactly what made it irresistible.”

Calling it how they see it, Deficit explain: “We notice a lot of bands spend so much time and energy taking themselves so seriously without actually having anything to say… So as a tongue-in-cheek jab, we wrote a track with deliberately nonsensical lyrics laden with over-the-top angst and a barrage of expletives.”
