PRINCER ARE BACK WITHDESTRUCTIVE NEW SINGLE"HARD 2 KILL"

Perth hardcore outfit Pincer+ are back with their destructive new single, "Hard 2 Kill", out now via Greyscale Records and 1126 Records.

“Hard 2 Kill” dives deep into the reality of surviving. The track explores what it means to live with lasting damage, constant self-doubt, and the suffocating weight of feeling disconnected from the world, even through the big moments. It sits in the space between wanting to disappear and stubbornly refusing to quit. At its core, the track strips away any pretense or glamour around resilience.

The new single also signals an evolution for Pincer+. Following lineup changes that saw Jaiden Higgon step in on vocals and Isryan Shah on bass, the band made the decision to embrace a clean slate. “New tuning, new faces, new sound, new approach," says the band. "We can promise you that without a doubt, Pincer will continue to evolve and develop our sound."

Armed with a renewed sense of self, Pincer+ are set to take the stage at Perth's Froth & Fury Festival in January 2026, joining a stacked lineup headlined by Polaris, with Soulfly, In Hearts Wake and more. Tickets on sale now.

Pincer+ sonically anchored their roots with the abrasive debut single, Angeldust, in 2022, exploring aggressive hardcore sensibility while breathing new life into the genre with its eclectic influences. Their Hunting God Tapes EP series - Vol. 1: Violence and Vol. 2: Romance - established Pincer+ as a force to be reckoned with, followed by last year’s caustic single Pulling Strings".

In a few short years, Pincer+ have solidified themselves a cult-like following, and found themselves on stages alongside heavyweight metal acts Kublai Khan (US), Stray From The Path (US), Like Moths To Flames (US), Justice For The Damned, Void Of Vision, In Hearts Wake and more. Pincer+ is Jaiden Higgon on vocals, Josh Ang and Jordan Burn on guitars, Isryan Shah on bass and Jack Nelson on drums.

Hard 2 Kill is out now via Greyscale Records.
