Death metal pioneers Possessed are heading to Australia this October to celebrate 40 years of their iconic debut Seven Churches with a crushing anniversary tour.

German goth metal icons Lord of the Lost will make their long-awaited Australian debut in February 2026. Known for their theatrical live shows and genre-blending sound, the band is set to bring their dark, dramatic energy to fans Down Under.

Ingested have postponed their upcoming Asia and Australia tour due to unforeseen circumstances, pulling out of A Cold Day in Brisbane. The festival will still go ahead on July 26 with a revised lineup to be announced.

“It's very hard to curate a singles tour,” stated Steve Kilbey. “The Church’s singles always started life as songs – as part of albums. Then, if the record company or radio thought the song was good, they became singles, because somebody thought that they would be.” Steve Kilbey spoke about singles, tours, and new music.
