THE BEAUTIFUL MONUMENT UNVEIL THEIR FIRST ALBUM IN SEVEN YEARS, 'EUPHORIC THRILLER'

Alternative emo rock favourites The Beautiful Monument have today released their long-awaited third album, Euphoric Thriller, via Greyscale Records - a vibrant, theatrical and deeply personal album, and their first in seven years. The band will take the record across Australia this November, supporting post-hardcore icons Chiodos with Rain City Drive on a national tour - tickets on sale now via Destroy All Lines.

Euphoric Thriller is the product of twelve months writing, recording and perfecting some of their favourite tracks to date, with the help of producer Chris Lalic (Windwaker, RinRin, Headwreck). The quartet - Lizi McIntosh [vocals], Amy McIntosh [bass], Alex Manhire [guitar] and Adam Pinzone [drums] - have taken the opportunity to reconnect with the love they have for the band and each other, and dive deep into life's messy bits on their newest album, tackling grief, mental health, identity, survival and the reality of existing in a world fuelled by ignorance.

"The album deals with the grief of not only physical loss, but the emotional battle that is existing in this world as a minority and navigating our way through the uphill battle of hate and bigotry from the society that surrounds us… but make it a party." tells vocalist Lizi McIntosh"If we don’t laugh we cry - so why not have a good time while internally wallowing in the fiery pits of hell that is the current state of the world."

Honing their craft with honest lyricism and emotive delivery, The Beautiful Monument have paved a reputation for crafting anthems for anyone who has ever felt beautifully broken. Catch the band on tour with Chiodos later this year, playing their new songs for the very first time. 'Euphoric Thriller' is out now and streaming everywhere via Greyscale Records.
