LIVECONFORMDIE RELEASE THEIR LONG-AWAITED NEW EP, 'DIE IN MY PRIME'
Perth genre-bending heavy outfit liveconformdie today unleash their long-awaited new EP, Die In My Prime, a searing return for the band after an extended release hiatus. They'll bring the record to life on home turf, with an EP launch show locked in for Saturday 17 October at Amplifier Bar. Tickets are on sale now.
Die In My Prime marks a new chapter for liveconformdie, building on the foundations of their previous releases Vol I: Cigarette Lullaby, Circa '94 and 2022's Vol II: Music for Living Failures. Liveconformdie have taken their time to shape what comes next - and Die In My Prime is a serious step up in every direction. It's a modern metal masterclass in wild, violent soundscapes, throwing deathcore, '90s and 2000s nu-metal, metalcore and industrial electronics into one monstrous mix.
The EP features recent singles "Soul Devourer" and "Heart Eater", offering two glimpses into the records twisted world. Lead single "Soul Devourer" made its debut on triple j CORE, with Wall Of Sound describing it as "a track that will have the deathcore kids gurning with excitement and the hardcore girlies ready to throw down with quite the two-step approved beat throughout", while METALBIRB coined it "Deathcore Kublai Khan".
Doing things entirely on their own terms, liveconformdie have built a fiercely loyal audience, clocking up more than 11 million streams across digital platforms and reaching listeners all over the world. Formed in one of the world's most isolated cities, liveconformdie have turned Perth's distance from the traditional music industry hubs into part of their identity. Their sound is just as sparse and difficult to pin down with its abrasive but infectious nature and hectic but tightly constructed production, constantly shifting between genres.
Their earlier work has earned a dedicated cult following, with their back catalogue continuing to find new listeners years after release. They've also shared stages with the likes of Stray From The Path, Paledusk, Thy Art Is Murder, Chelsea Grin, Born Of Osiris, The Amity Affliction, Being As An Ocean, Protest The Hero, Make Them Suffer, Polaris and plenty more.
Die In My Prime is out now and streaming everywhere.
