TESTEAGLES REFORM FOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR OF NON COMPREHENDUS

Turn That Shit Up

Well, if you were a teenager back when one of Adelaide’s finest trios, the Testeagles dropped their monstrous debut album, Non Comprehendus, back in February of 2000, you might very well be asking for shit to be turned up.

After seventeen years, the band got together for a one-off reformation at last year's Froth & Fury festival in Adelaide. It was their first live performance since 2008, and the response was nothing short of explosive. The crowd reaction, the energy, and the overwhelming demand from fans made it clear: one show wasn’t enough. That single set has now sparked a full-scale comeback tour, fuelled entirely by the people who wouldn’t let them stop at just one.

At one point this return seemed impossible due to bassist ‘D’s' significant health battles, but through sheer perseverance he’s defied the odds to make this reformation a realty!

And this October and November, Testeagles will hit the road in celebration of the 25th anniversary of arguably one of the nations seminal nu-metal albums, Non Comprehendus.
Learn more about D's story HERE.

Non Comprehendus peaked at #8 on the Aria Chart, was all over Triple J (TTSU was 66 on the Hottest 100 in ’99) their videos were an unescapable presence on Music TV shows and they were regulars on the Big Day Out right up until 2005.

Long time Australian musicologist Ian McFarlane said that TEs "displayed an uncanny ability to combine thudding metal with electronic beats and samples to arrive at an intense brand of techno rock.” and that Non Comprehendus was “the most visceral album to chart in the Australian Top 10 since the likes of Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson.”

The turn of the millennium was an incredible time for Australian rock music. Bands like Testeagles left traditional Aussie pub rock in the previous century where it belonged; wrapped their pit destroying riffs in digital technology, samples and the occasional blast beat to create something fresh, futuristic and genuinely exciting. And led the charge into a brave nu world...

Joining Testeagles on all shows except for the Gold Coast are Melbourne three piece, Bushido. Having recently reformed, the guys have been busy dropping killer new singles at every opportunity. Their huge riffs and soaring melodies are guaranteed to get the pit primed and ready.

This anniversary tour promises to have you relive the fierce, high-energy experience of Testeagles’ in their prime. So dust off your camo shorts, dig out your blowfly sunnies, and come and party like it's 1999.
