PRIMAL FEAR ANNOUNCE 30TH ANNIVERSARY + SHADOWRIDERS AUSTRALIAN TOUR
HARDLINE MEDIA proudly presents PRIMAL FEAR on their 30th Anniversary Tour. Not only is this a special occasion for their 30th, but also as a very special treat, their new album Shadowriders is being released just before they arrive... so come along and be some of the first in the world to hear the new album live.
The legendary German Power Metal band features some of the most respected musicians in the business, such as vocalist Ralf Scheepers, who's long and varied career includes Tyran Pace, Gamma Ray... and as K.K. Downing put it, Ralf "Was one of the few suitable candidates to replace Rob Halford in Judas Priest back in the 90's". Also, on bass we have Mat Sinner, famously of the band Sinner from Germany, Magnus Karlsonn on guitar, Andre Hilgers on drums, and recent newcomer Thalìa Bellazecca on guitar.
Primal Fear was founded in October 1997 by singer Ralf Scheepers and Mat Sinner. Scheepers and Sinner have been constants in the Heavy Metal scene before the band was founded. Ralf Scheepers sang in the bands Tyran Pace, F.B.I. and the internationally successful band Gamma Ray. After a gig with his Judas Priest cover band "Just Priest" in which Mat Sinner helped out, the idea arose to form Primal Fear. They signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast Records in late 1997. Their debut album "Primal Fear" was released in February 1998 and entered the German LP charts at place 48, thus making it one of the highest chart entries of a debut album in German Metal history. And as they say, the rest is history. After countless world tours, 15 albums of which have charted all over the planet, and the new one Shadowriders on the way, the band is unstoppable.
