NO MORE OPEN SECRETS: A LIVE CONVERSATION ABOUT SEXUAL HARM, SAFETY AND SUPPORT FOR WOMEN IN MUSIC
NO MORE OPEN SECRETS A live conversation about sexual harm, safety and support for women and gender diverse people in music
Join One of One, in partnership with Dr. Ash King from Support Act and Bree Baker, for a live online conversation exploring sexual harm, safety, and what genuine support looks like for women and GNC people navigating the music industry.
This is a grounded, practical conversation that will explore topics such as; trauma in the body and understanding the physical toll of surviving harm in the industry, how to support others affected by sexual harm, reframing shame, and the support options and networks available to women and gender diverse people who have experienced sexual harm or harassment.
This session will be for women and gender diverse people in the music industry, and is free. There will be future sessions which will focus on inviting men to the conversation, but this will remain a safe space for women and gender diverse people only.
One of One explain, “We want to do more to help victim survivors. As women we have either experienced sexual harm or harassment or supported someone through it. Enough is enough. We are incredibly lucky to have Dr. Ash King and Bree Baker bring their expertise and knowledge to this difficult yet vital conversation. We want there to be no more open secrets in this industry.”
