MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS SELL OUT SYDNEY & MELBOURNE

Just days after announcing their debut Australian tour, Japanese alt-rock band MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS have sold out their Sydney and Melbourne shows. Fans who missed out on initial tickets can experience the Kobe-formed outfit’s high-energy live shows at upgraded venues, with the Sydney show relocating from Crowbar to Metro Theatre, and Melbourne shifting from The Night Cat to Northcote Theatre. Tickets to the Brisbane show at Crowbar are selling fast.

Taking place in February 2027, the East Coast run hit venues in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, giving fans the opportunity to experience the band’s influential catalogue while also bringing new members into their global, cultlike following as well.

"Australia, we’re finally coming! It’s a place we’ve dreamed of

visiting for so long. We can’t wait to see you all next February” Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs

Inspired by artists including The Smashing Pumpkins, The Wedding Present and Sugar, the trio - also known as Masu Dore (マスドレ) - released their first project back in 2008. Since the release of that self-titled EP, the band has released four studio records including No New World (2018), Awakening:Sleeping (2022) and 2024’s Live In Japan record.

Last week, Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs embraced a new chapter with the release of their new EP - Iwaou - out now. The band’s first new project in four years, Iwaou is a poignant reminder of the band’s power and high-octane arrangements.

Excited to bring a brand new set and show together with this new material in tow, there has never been a more perfect time to become acquainted with Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs: one of Japan’s most thrilling live bands.
