MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Formed in Kobe, Japan and renowned for their high-energy performances and tightly arranged, frenetic style of alternative rock, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS will bring this spirit to Australia for their first-ever tour in February 2027.

The East Coast run will hit venues in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, giving fans the opportunity to experience the band’s influential catalogue while also bringing new members into their global, cultlike following as well.

Inspired by artists including The Smashing Pumpkins, The Wedding Present and Sugar, the trio - also known as Masu Dore (マスドレ) - released their first project back in 2008. Since the release of that self-titled EP, the band has released four studio records including No New World (2018), Awakening:Sleeping (2022) and 2024’s Live In Japan record.

In 2026, Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs will embrace a new chapter with the release of a new EP - Iwaou - on August 14th. The band’s first new project in four years, Iwaou is a poignant reminder of the band’s power and high-octane arrangements.
