Spite’s first Australian headline tour landed in Brisbane with a sold out show at The Triffid, kicking things off on April 24. With Varials on main support and local acts DIESECT and Zuko opening, the combo is honestly violent.

We got our boogie on at Spite and it was delicious. The room filled fast and stayed that way, bodies moving early and never really settling. Varials brought that groovy, slammy bounce, while DIESECT and Zuko delivered that raw local energy from the jump.

Darius is no doubt one of the most unhinged sounding frontmen out there, and it showed straight through tracks like ‘IED’ and ‘Made to Please’, with ‘Caved In’ hitting just as hard late in the set. This wasn’t a night built for standing still.
