By Day Three, BIGSOUND 2026 was showing no signs of slowing down. If anything, knowing it was the final night seemed to push the energy even higher. Venues across Fortitude Valley were packed with bodies, with crowds spilling in ready to dance, discover and squeeze every last bit out of the festival. Everywhere you looked there were smiles, movement and connection as artists and music lovers alike settled into one final night of jumping between stages.
After three nights of genre hopping and unexpected discoveries, Catpiss and Liquid Zoo were personal standouts from the final run — both delivering exactly the kind of sets that make wandering into venue after venue at BIGSOUND worthwhile. The final night felt like a celebration of everything the week had offered: packed rooms, new music, sweaty crowds and people genuinely excited to be part of it. Twenty-five years on, BIGSOUND still seems to thrive on that simple idea — put artists, industry and music lovers together, open the doors, and see what happens.
