HOLE REISSUE FIRST THREE ALBUMS ON VINYL

Hole have announced the long-awaited return of their first three studio albums to vinyl, with Pretty On The Inside, Live Through This and Celebrity Skin set for release on September 18 via UMe. The collection celebrates the enduring legacy of one of alternative rock's most influential bands, with each album receiving newly mastered or remastered editions alongside a range of collectible formats.

Leading the reissues is the band's 1991 debut Pretty On The Inside, which marks its 35th anniversary with an expanded range of editions. Alongside standard black vinyl and CD formats, fans can pick up a limited "Starbelly Splatter" 2LP edition featuring new gatefold artwork, a rare band lithograph and a newly remastered 12-inch pressing of the original Teenage Whore single, complete with B-sides Burn Black and Drown Soda. The two B-sides will also make their streaming debut when the collection is released.

Released in 1994, Live Through This returns newly mastered for vinyl and will be available on standard black vinyl as well as a zoetrope edition featuring animated loops inspired by the album's original music videos. Celebrity Skin receives the same treatment, with newly mastered audio and a zoetrope pressing showcasing visuals drawn from the band's iconic videos.

Independent record stores will also receive exclusive Record Store Day Essential colour vinyl editions of all three albums on October 23, giving collectors another opportunity to secure limited variants.

The project has been overseen by Hole guitarist and co-founder Eric Erlandson, who personally curated the reissues and supervised every stage of the restoration. Alongside faithfully reproduced artwork and restored packaging, the collection aims to present the band's formative releases in their definitive physical editions.

More than three decades after Pretty On The Inside introduced Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson and company to the world, these albums continue to influence generations of alternative, punk and grunge artists. Their return to vinyl offers longtime fans and new listeners the chance to experience three of the genre's defining releases in refreshed editions.
