PARKWAY DRIVE - SACRED VIDEO

Australia’s heaviest export, Parkway Drive, are back swinging with a brand new single and video, “Sacred”, landing tonight at 11PM AEST. The band’s been teasing the drop with cryptic runes and a vibe that screams “something’s about to go down” — and honestly, it better crush.

Parkway doesn’t disappoint. “Sacred” marks a significant addition to their evolving sound. The track departs from their earlier, faster-paced metalcore style, embracing a more deliberate and weighty approach. Winston McCall’s vocals are measured yet powerful, delivering each line with the weight of intent.

The video, directed by Third Eye Visuals, matches the song’s gravity with bleak, apocalyptic visuals and heavy symbolism — fire, faith, and a whole lot of fury. McCall calls the track “an anthemic wrecking ball of positive energy,” aiming to rally listeners to reclaim identity and hope in the face of adversity.

It’s all part of Parkway’s 20-year flex, with a symphony-backed show at the freakin’ Sydney Opera House coming up next month. Yeah — breakdowns and bow ties. Wild times. The performance will be filmed for their upcoming live album and documentary, HOME, rounding out what’s shaping up to be a monumental year for the band.
