King Parrot are back and they’re not pulling any punches. Look Away I’m Hideous is a feral one-minute, forty-eight-seconds gut-punch loaded with everything that makes this band so uncomfortably great—grindcore filth, tongue-in-cheek chaos, and a whole lotta “what the f**k did I just watch?”

The animated video (courtesy of The Art of Fox) drags you headfirst into a twisted fever dream of body horror, poking at the absurdity of beauty culture with a smirk and a scalpel. It’s disgusting. It’s perfect.

Look Away I’m Hideous is a fresh glimpse into A Young Person’s Guide to King Parrot, dropping June 6 via Housecore. If this track’s anything to go by, the full album’s set to be gloriously unhinged. Also—they’re touring with Pantera and Amon Amarth in the U.S. later this year, so yeah, King Parrot world domination arc incoming.
